A Step Into a New Era

I started at IGN as one of the first people on a dedicated social and community team at the company right at the brink of companies realizing they need to care about social media. The Great Social Media Race. Like most companies at that time, we had some bumpy roads trying to figure out what social and community meant to the company. In the end of my tenure we had established a unique point of view and had used social not only to prop up our talent and personalities, but to prop up the IGN community.
